Although Pokémon Smile is intended for young children, it acts as an augmented reality game to help facilitate proper tooth brushing habits. Most kids don't brush their teeth daily and many don't bother brushing at all. Creating daily brushing routines in children is a nightmare for their parents. But Pokémon Smile makes this much easier by giving children an interesting reason to do it.

Pokémon Smile requires a phone's or tablet's front-facing camera to watch its user's brushing habits. It then matches faces with special stickers and augmented reality effects. People wearing a Pokémon hat while brushing their teeth will be the result. When brushing teeth, players can snap a selfie during the adventure and use Pokémon Smile to add super funny stickers to their picture. Players can also capture other tooth brushing moments by using the game's editing features. When players incorporate the new selfie feature into their routines, the resulting image will be even more intriguing. It automatically saves four images to the photo library. If a player doesn't want to use this feature, they can disable it in the app's settings.

You can see your own face through the front camera when wearing a Pokémon hat. Pokémon Smile displays five, four, three, two, one and the game starts when you press the button. Players face a constant reminder of this game'sPurple bacterial clouds when they fail to thoroughly brush their teeth. Players need to consistently brush their teeth in a clockwise motion from left to right, up and down, and then right to left. If players don't follow this routine, they'll develop bacterial in their mouths. The game continuously encourages players to brush their teeth faster by providing suggestions for improving the appearance of their teeth. If players brush their teeth incorrectly through the microphone, the game will remind them to use the correct method. With the Pokémon Smile app, you can set your brushing time to one, two or three minutes. This app utilizes brushing cycles popularized by leading medical centers to provide assurance when using it.

The game tracks your performance by looking at the camera, then directing your finger toward your face to brush teeth. Afterward, it assesses whether you performed well or poorly. A Pokémon appears at the bottom of the screen. It seems imprisoned underneath an impenetrable layer of bacteria. To free the Pokémon in this situation, you must first finish brushing your teeth and pass a system checkup. In addition to cleaning your tongue with toothpaste, you can earn Pokémon hats that put virtual hats on your head. These virtual hats represent the Pokémon that appear when you brush your teeth. You may even see Fushigisou, Lizardo or Pikachu giving you a hug. Take down your friends using the Pokémon Smile by downloading it and competing in the Brushing Master award race.

First-generation Pokémon can be obtained by catching 151 of them. These are needed to fill the player's Pokédex. Children adore Pokémon as a friendly pet.
