There are a total of eight characters, each with a different star rating. Their health, strength, speed, and aggression are tied to their star count. As their ratings increase, so does the speed at which their stats increase. Because of this, you defeat monsters more quickly. However, the game automatically grants your characters one to two star grades. For evolution to occur, you need to increase their star count. You need to increase your tactical and mental acumen in order to better evade the enemy's attacks. Because the protagonist lacks significant health, dodge their attacks instead and focus on protecting yourself with little health left.
