Oddmar's success is greatly attributable to the music in his game. Every movement, such as riding a horse or wading through a river, elicits a distinct piece of music. And when characters engage in battle, the sounds of combat are accompanied by the game's usual soundtrack. As someone who regularly experiences goosebumps from music, this effect was invaluable.
