A military dictator controls the Moon and possesses a stockpile of dangerous weapons and war machines long forgotten by humanity. Gunstar Heroes Classic includes seven challenging levels that mirror the original. You must use weapons to stave off enemies and destroy them all. You can also use ancient ruins, skyscrapers or a fort as a staging area. Additionally, you can use the original's teleporting mechanic to any of these locations. Gunstar Heroes Classic packs a wide range of weapons. The game provides players with one of the four available weapons at the start of the game. After collecting 14 different weapons, players can continue traveling the world. Using two weapons at once can combine them into a superweapon that grants even more firepower. I particularly enjoy combining my Lightning and Chaser guns, since they fire almost everything on the screen with very little input from me. Combining two weapons is a thrilling experience; it's like creating new weapons in real life. I had difficulty adapting to the Gunstar Heroes Classic’s controls. I felt like my hands couldn’t even move while playing this game; I had to jump and keep the gun running smoothly. It’s hard to play this game using a MFi controller, because most of the time, you have to input commands quickly and smoothly. In the game, you earn countless noble titles while completing missions connected to your online friends. Any time you play bad, you can pause and rewind Gunstar Heroes Classic's classic version has a feature that saves previous sessions. This is an incredibly useful feature for anyone who enjoys playing anytime.

Even after the trend towards 3D graphics is surpassed, classic 2D graphics are hard to forget thanks to Gunstar Heroes Classic. The nostalgic pixel art is instantly recognizable even by non-gamers. I love the smoothness and ease of Gunstar Heroes Classic's effects, but I also enjoy the fast-paced action in Gunstar Heroes Classic. The game has a lot of replay value thanks to its engaging combat and gameplay.
