As a member of the Soviet counterterrorism force, you play FGB Operators to help eliminate terrorists in threatening security in many areas. Defending innocent people and preserving security in certain areas are among your duties as a terrorist elimination specialist. Sneaking into terrorist hideouts is a challenging task. They deploy advanced weaponry, making this war difficult.

FGB Operators looks similar to the 1st-person shooter game Counter-Strike 1.6. It features 3D graphics that accurately represent a soldier's perspective in a battlefield. The game takes place on Android devices and is viewable by the naked eye. It feels as if you're fighting terrorism on a real battlefield; it even includes graphics and images similar to Counter-Strike 1.6. The game’s console is quite bare-bones and resembles mobile games about shooting. The left side of the console includes a joystick that players use to move around the scene. Touching and rotating the display changes the camera angle. One issue with the game is that the reload button is placed in the corner on the top right corner of the screen. This makes it difficult to reload while changing camera angles because it's in the top right corner. Other controls include shooting, grenades, picking up guns and a reload button.

The game FGB Operators features two modes of play: a campaign and survival mode. In the campaign mode, players travel to seven terrorist-occupied areas. Each one is fully armed and prepared to fight. Making wise use of the terrain and neutralizing your enemies' numerical advantage can help you protect yourself from harm. Different from Counter-Strike, soldiers have health that isn’t lost when they aren’t hit by bullets for a short time. This means that soldiers don’t have to rush to complete their mission— they can take extra time to rest and restore their health between terrorist attacks. Additionally, the game doesn’t have a time limit; it allows soldiers to complete their mission without rushing through it. FGB Operators can defeat terrorists by understanding the battlefield and finding paths to victory. They should also take time to consider their options when creating a plan. In survival mode, FGB Operators face off against terrorists. In campaign mode, they must actively attack terrorists. Both campaigns have three different maps to choose from; each with a different wave configuration. However, only survival mode features the unique “survival” mechanic. When the timer runs out, they must fight until they run out of health. No more than a couple of bullets are needed to take down terrorists. After that, you must steal the terrorists' guns and fight with them. Your only weapon is a single projectile; you can't use melee attacks in the game. You must consider how much ammunition you have, as defaulting to only one weapon is not an option. If you run out of ammo, you're completely harmless.

FGB Operators gives players the opportunity to use many guns from the real world. Some of these weapons include the M4A1, USP, Glock, and AK47. Other guns featured in the game include shotguns, SMGs and snipers. Additionally, players have access to many familiar war weapons such as the AWP and USP.
