Contra: Evolution is a game of action and platforms in two dimensions in which players will control an elite soldier who must fight against the invading forces starting in the jungle of south africa.

Players can choose between several different characters, though they all behave the same once we start to play. Unlike what happens in the Anti-traditional, in Contra: Evolution our character shoot automatically and continuously. Thanks to this, we only have to worry about for jump, dodge, and use special abilities.

As was the case in the Anti-traditional, in Contra: Evolution we will be alternating between phases in two dimensions in which we will have to shoot enemies and dodge their attacks; phase-in we will have to move forward, firing at the sides of the screen.

Contra: Evolution is a shooter game and fun platforming, which also has the component of nostalgia for those who played the original titles. In fact, the level design is identical to that of the first title of the franchise. By Andrés López
